Potato Numbers Singin’ Time (part 1)

It's potato numbers singin' time

potato numbers singin' time

Do you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

count your potatoes 1-2-3?

How many taters do you see

when you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

when you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

Do you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

count your potatoes 1-2-3?

How many taters do you see

when you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

when you count your potatoes 1-2-3?

(Repeat and fade)

Pussycats

The pussycat pussycats are on a tear

Down the hall and up the stairs

Pussycats run, pussycats hide

Pussycats all want to play outside.

The pussycat pussycats are in the yard

You never see a pussycat working hard

Pussycat pussycat sleep all day

Nightime comes, it's time to play

Pussies, so cute when they're really small

Then they get real big and they act too tall

Pussycat pussycat, he don't care

Pussycat sleep in your favorite chair.

Pussycat always is looking around

Eyes roll up, eyes roll down

Pussycat whiskers, pussycat hair

Pussycat looks, pussycat stare.

What does pussycat have to do

But lie on his back and say, "Who are you?"

Pussycat people, they don't mind

The pussycat lives on pussycat time.

Pussycat pussycats are in the hall

Pussycat pussycat where's your ball?

Pussycat pussycat, where'd you go?

Did you find the mouse hiding in the hole?

Pussycat always is looking around

Eyes roll up, eyes roll down

Pussycat whiskers, pussycat hair

Pussycat looks, pussycat stare.

Pussycat pussycat chase your tail

Pussycat girls, pussycat male

Pussycat pussycat, whats your name?

Pussycat wild, pussycat tame.

Pussycat pussycat is my best friend

Now dish is empty, he's gone again

Pussycat pussycat walk on by

Pussycat cool, pussycat sly

Pussycat cool, pussycat sly

Pussycat is cool, pussycat is sly.

The Purple Polka-Dot Banana Apple Orange Lime

Did you ever look at someone's lunch

and ponder what's within..

Puddings,  pears or sandwiches

with slices that are thin?

But I would bet what's not seen yet

And what you might never find

Is a purple polka-dot banana apple orange lime.

You see, a scientist with funny hair

and glasses on his nose

Decided to experiment

with beakers and a hose

So he planted seeds inside a shoe

and buffed it to a shine

And it produced the strangest fruit

That you will ever find.

The purple polka-dot banana

apple orange lime

Is always found above the ground

on multi-coloured vines

But you have to go to Mexico

That's the only place you'll find

The purple polka-dot banana

apple orange lime!

Well, it's shaped just like a wally-hoo

with plingots on the side

It's soft and hard at either end

with nibbly bits inside.

You must admit to look at it

It's the strangest thing you'll find:

The purple polka-dot banana apple orange lime

Oh, the purple polka-dot banana

apple orange lime

Is always found above the ground

on multi-coloured vines

But you have to go to Mexico

That's the only place you'll find

The purple polka-dot banana

apple orange lime

Now tasty fingots, ploots and plidders

wibbly jibs and jimes

May all be quite delightful

But you could have them anytime

It's the taste that most inspires my haste

and the hardest one to find

Is the purple polka-dot banana apple orange lime!

Oh, the purple polka-dot banana

apple orange lime

Is always found above the ground

on multi-coloured vines

But you have to go to Mexico

That's the only place you'll find

The purple polk-dot banana

apple orange lime

The purple polk-dot banana

apple orange lime

Oh, the purple polk-dot banana

apple orange lime!

Bonky The Donkey

"Oh, Bonky!"

Bonky the donkey, the childrens pet

Bonky the donkey, we'll get there yet

Bonky the donkey, that's his name

He's the lazy mule with the crazy name.

Well, Bonky the donkey sleeps all day

By his favourite tree in his favourite shade

He don't like work and he don't like tools

That's why Bonky's a lazy mule.

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow, that he goes "Whoa!"

That's how slow he goes.

Well, the farmer called old Bonky's name

He said, "Bonky Bonky there's work today!"

But Bonky,  the donkey never came,

He was sawing logs on a bed of hay.

Bonky the donkey, the childrens pet

Bonky the donkey, we'll get there yet

Bonky the donkey, that's his name

He's the lazy mule with the crazy name.

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow, that he goes "Whoa!"

That's how slow he goes.

You have to pull him by the nose

Did you ever see a mule so slow?

He goes, "Hee haw, hee haw, hee haw!"

He's the laziest donkey of them all.

Bonky the donkey, the childrens pet

Bonky the donkey, we'll get there yet

Bonky the donkey-- that's his name

He's the lazy mule with the crazy name.

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow

He goes so slow, that he goes "Whoa!"

That's how slow he goes

That's how slow he goes

That's how slow he goes.

Now, where is that mule?

Bonky! Oh, Bonky!

He's a lazy mule with a crazy name.

A Good Samaritan

I want to help somebody

I'll do the best I can

to try and help somebody

when somebody needs a friend

and when somebody needs me,

I'll just hold out my hand--

and thats the way you get to be

a good samaritan.

When somebody's hands are full,

I'll help them with their load

I'll offer my assistance

along lifes bumpy road

'Cause there's so many people

that need a helping hand--

and that's the way you get to be

a good samaritan.

When you help somebody

that's one way you can learn

to be a better person

and get help in return,

The more you help somebody

the more you understand--

and  that's the way you get to be

a good samaritan

I know there's people in the world

less fortunate than me

I hope somebody helps them,

like someone once helped me

'Cause I know how important

it is to lend a hand--

and that's the way you get to be

a good samaritan.

And now you see I'm proud to be

a good samaritan.

Potato Numbers

I wanna sing a little song about potatoes

You gotta plant potatoes in the ground

Taters that are red, taters that are green

Look at all the taters that are brown.

First ya dig 'em up and put 'em in a basket

Then you load 'em up and take 'em into town

Taters that are red, taters that are green

Look at all the taters that are brown.

1 potato 2 potato 3 potato 4

5 potato 6 potato 7 tater more

8 potato 9 potato 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- simple to do!

Well they load up all the taters

in a lotta tater sacks

They back up all the wagons

and they tote 'em in the back

Goin' to the market and goin' to the square

Oh my gosh, there's potatoes everywhere!

There's taters on the table, taters in the sink

Put 'em in a blender, if you wanna have a drink

Taters on the telly, taters in an ad

Taters that are good  m-m-m  taters that are bad!

Oh, 1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10  Can you go  "woo-hoo?"

1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- simple to do!

Well, you'll find a lotta taters at the the grocer

And you'll find a lotta taters at the store

Taters that are red and taters that are green

Taters that are rollin on the floor.

And you can buy 'em, try 'em

Cook 'em up or fry 'em

Oil 'em, boil 'em. You never can deny  'em.

Taters, fries or wedgies

mashed with gravy on your plate

It's a slice to eat potatoes everyday.

Oh, 1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- Can you go " woo- hoo?"

1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- simple to do!

Tonight when you're sittin' at your table,

Remember that potatoes are your friends

Always eat your veggies--

Your carrots and your peas

You can always save the taters 'til the end.

1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- Can you go " woo-hoo?"

1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato 2

Times 5 makes 10 -- simple to do!

1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato 4

5 potato, 6 potato, 7 tater more

8 potato, 9 potato, 10 potato  "Ooh"

I don't think I could eat one more potato, can you?

No more potatoes -- no more potatoes -- for you.

Ooh thank you very much!

Rustle me up some more potatoes.   Thank you ........ thank you.

Lucky

Let me tell you a little story

'bout a dog named Lucky

He was lucky as a dog could be

He was lucky as a four-leaf clover, Rover

Happy as a house- broke flea

And all the dogs in the canine kingdom

wanted to be lucky, too

But ol' Lucky said, "Don't scratch your head.

I'll tell you what to do."

"You've got to smile at your neighbour

when you're happy and when you're feelin' blue.

Smile when they tell you where to go

and when they're callin' you

Just keep a -smilin' everyday

And watch your dreams come true

When you wear a smile upon your face,

Then you'll be lucky, too."

Well, Lucky never worried about tomorrow

I heard Lucky say,

"I never dwell upon my sorrows

I live for today--

And I don't get "ruff" with all my friends

And they don't get "ruff" with me'

There's a little bit of lucky in everyone

And you're as lucky as you wanna be.

You've got to smile at your neighbour

when you're happy--

And when you're feelin' blue

Smile when they tell you where to go

And when they're callin' you.

Just keep a-smilin' everyday

and watch your dreams come true

When you wear a smile upon your face,

then you'll be lucky, too.

Well, now you're knowin' that the best thing showin'

is a smilin' happy face

And when you wear it you can share it

anytime or place

So just keep a-smilin' everyday

and watch your dreams come true

'Cause when you wear a smile upon your face

Then you'll be lucky, too.

You've got to smile at your neighbour

when you're happy--

And when your feelin' blue

Smile when they tell you where to go

And when they're callin' you.

Just keep a- smilin' everyday

and watch your dreams come true

When you wear a smile upon your face

then you'll be lucky, too

When you wear a smile upon your face

then you'll be lucky, too.

The Cowboy Way

A long time ago when the west was young

A cowboy's work was never done

He'd get up early at the break of day

And get out workin' on the old prairie.

And he'd yip-yee-haw and a big yaw-hee

The cowboy's life is the life for me

Wouldn't you like to be a cowboy, too

A ropin' and a ridin' under skies of blue.

He's ropin' and a ridin' under skies of blue.

Well, I knew a feller and his name was Jed

His favourite horse was a horse named Ed

They'd go out ridin' on the open plains

When they'd get thirsty Mr. Ed would say,

"Hey, Pardner, would ya like to go

Over yonder by the swimmin' hole?

I'd like a drink and to rest a spell

'neath the willow tree by the drinkin' well."

Yeah, all God's critters get thirsty, too

Ropin' and a ridin' under skies of blue

Mr. Ed would like to rest a spell

'neath the willow tree by the drinkin' well."

He'd like to rest by the drinkin' well.

Well, pilgrims,

It was a different life on the open plains

Folks walked for miles and they didn't complain

The kids fetched water and they helped with chores

And ya never saw no-one hangin' round indoors.

Yeah, things are different than they used to be

When cowboys were workin' on the ol' prairie

The city life is what we live today

But I'd sure like to live the cowboy way

He'd sure like to live the cowboy way.

If I could go back in history

There's one place where I'd like to be

With the open plains stretchin' out so wide

I'd start out ridin' cross the great divide.

And I'd yip-yee-haw and a big yaw-hee

The cowboy's life is the life for me

Wouldn't you like to be a cowboy, too

Ropin' and a ridin' under skies of blue?

Singin' yip-yee-haw and a big yaw-hee

The cowboy's life is the life for me

The city life is what we live today,

But I'd sure like to live the cowboy way.

He'd sure like to live the cowboy way.

Yeah, I'd sure like to live the cowboy way

He'd sure like to live the cowboy way

Yeah, I'd sure like to live the cowboy way...

Get along little dogie.....dag gummit!

Potato Numbers Singin' Time (Part 2)

Do you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

How many taters do you see

When you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

When you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

Does a pussycat sleep in your favourite chair?

pussycat sleep in your favourite chair?

Well, if you had no chair to spare,

Would a pussycat sleep in your favourite chair?

pussycat sleeps in my favourite chair!

Wishing, birds and words that rhyme

Fruits that grow on coloured vines

Cowboys and donkeys you will find

In Potato Numbers Singin' Time

Potato Numbers Singin' Time.

Do you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

How many taters do you see

When you count your poatoes 1, 2, 3?

When you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

All good people lend a hand

All good people lend a hand

They all do the best they can,

To be a good samaritan

To be a good samaritan.

Smile at your neighbour and they'll smile, too

Smile at your neighbour and they'll smile, too

If you were sad, what would you do,

If a dog named Lucky smiled at you?

If a dog named Lucky smiled at you?

Do you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

How many taters do you see,

When you count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

count your potatoes 1, 2, 3?

Well, now it's time to say good-bye

now it's time to say goodbye

I hope you had a real good time,

With Potato Numbers Singin' Time

Wishes

If I had a wish

I'd wish for apples and pears,

Or maybe I'd wish for -- a wish for tomorrow

One wish for you and for me

But if I had two wishes

Then maybe I'd wish for three.

Wishes are easy

But how do you make them come true?

I learned the hard way,

So I'll make it easy for you.

Work hard everyday -- believe in yourself

'Til others believe in you, too,

Then take all your wishes

And make all your wishes come true.

Work hard at your wishes

May all of your wishes come true.

And that's my wish for you.
